An item in a rock music column published April 26 included incorrect information about musician Kevin M. Allin. The Item said Allin, who goes by the initials GG, had been paroled from prison after serving a sentence for indecent exposure and assault and battery. He was convicted of felonious assault and is now on parole. In 1989 Allin was charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. He was accused of inflicting cuts and serious burns on an Ann Arbor woman, who testified at Allin’s trial that she was hospitalized for 12 days. Through a plea-bargaining agreement, Allin later pleaded no contest to the reduced charge of felonious assault and was sentenced to serve 18 months to four years in prison.
